Level 1: Health and Safety in a Construction Environment
This course is a one day health and safety awareness course aimed at those who have little practical working experience within the construction industry and are seeking to obtain their green CSCS card. This course is designed to provide a greater understanding of the potential hazards faced on a construction site. This course is provided via: e-learning, classroom or tutor led online delivery.
SSSTS - Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme
The CITB Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) is aimed at those individuals with supervisor responsibilities on a construction site and those who are about to step up to a supervisory role. The course provides individuals with an in-depth understanding of the requirements associated with supervising on a construction site and how they can work together with all staff to identify hazards and minimise risks. This course is provided via: classroom or tutor led online delivery.
SSSTS R - Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme Refresher
The CITB Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) Refresher course is aimed at those individuals who have already successfully completed the full SSSTS course and wish to update their knowledge and maintain their qualification. This course is provided via: classroom or tutor led online delivery.
SMSTS - Site Management Safety Training Scheme
The CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course is aimed at those individuals who may be considering, or already have, responsibilities for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering groups of staff on site e.g. the site manager. It is designed to provide all candidates with a comprehensive understanding and appreciation of their responsibilities when it comes to managing safety on a construction site.
